I think we’ve all tried sinking a balled-up piece of notebook paper into a trashcan at some point in our lives. It just would have been cooler if you did it with the paper from this notebook. A finalist at the European Design Awards, this awesome pad was done by Trapped in Suburbia to encourage clients to have fun at work.

This is an awesome idea but it looks like something like this wastes money (i don’t care much about trees). I’m thinking it must cost more to make a notebook with large colored sheets throughout. I’m also realizing there’s only half of the amount of pages to write on compared to a notebook with blank or ruled pages on both the front and the back. I still like the idea though.

Oh shut up you guys, it’s just a little paper. Trees grow back. Plastic is the BIG waste problem. We’d be lucky to have way more novelty items made from tree products instead of plastic. (Recycled or hemp would be better, but whatever, at least it’s not going to sit there rotting for 10k years.)
