Pie Like You’ve Never Seen It

Posted by: Ryan Deal on July 24th, 2009

Take two things that are great and mash ‘em together and what do you get? Boob-cake. But since that’s already been done (NSFW food), how about mixing apple pie and lollipops? Over at LUXIRARE, they’re experts at sweet styles and fashion foods. Here’s what they’re cooking up. Hungry yet?

Those look great. Saw something similar on Food Network, with Jamie & Bobby,in Florida where they did chocolate dipped Key Lime Pie on a stick.

  7. Joel says:

    “what was the inspiration?”

    i’m guessing lolly pops?

    moron.

  11. AmberLily says:

Mmm, what a great way to bring pumpkin pie out year-round!!

They look totally bite-sized so I think I’d need like four or five of them…

  12. Keith says:

Yeah, it is a unique idea, but do we really need to wrap a small amount of food in plastic wrapper and a stick to eat it? The only thing I could think about was the waste it creates eating one of these.

  13. Laurel says:

Hmm, interesting idea, but why not forgo the stick? It’ll probably just break apart anyway when you go to eat it. Individually packaged pies sans sticks would be more eco-friendly, cheaper to manufacture, and create no more/no less mess.

    Jus’ sayin’…

  14. Phillip says:

    that is GENIUS

  15. Jesse says:

why is the pie baked and not the stick? surely the stick would be coloured from the cooking process aswell?

    very suspicious indeed.

why must you bring pie into your web of deceit?

  16. andifall says:

GX67, your reading a webpage on pie-lollipops . . . how do u not have time to make these??

  17. That is so neat, i love how they use the handl to make the creases.

Only thing taht could have made this cuter was if they had it ribbon layered on the top like an apple pie.

  18. Jill says:
